Default Is it possible to send specific MIDI channel for VSTi/VST3i/AU in one track ?

Hello everyone ! I am sorry for my random question.... but I could not find any documentation on this...

If I have multiple virtual instruments on one track, is it possible to assign specific channel for specific instrument?

Example:

I created one tack and applied : Diva, Serum, Kontakt

If my midi keyboard sending MIDI information to channel 1 , Diva would start playing. If midi Keyboard sending to channel 2 Serum would be playing.... etc.

___________

So essentially I am asking is it possible to assign specific channel to VSTi/VST3i/AU ?

Now I know that some synths have an option to do that... and I tested it and it worked..... but some synths/instruments dose not have this option build in... and in that case dose our glorious DAW can solve this issue or not yet?

sincerely yours,

'Fraid not. I requested this some time ago:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=36595

There is a workaround:
(a) put the MIDI for each synth on a different track
(b) Send those tracks to the VSTi track, each Send on a different MIDI Bus
(c) Set each VSTi to receive its MIDI Input from the appropriate MID bus (right-click the [2 out] (or whatever) button.

But, you might as well put each VSTi on its own track, with its MIDI, then put all 3 into a folder.

HAHAHAHHA I thought about this one =D

Thank you for REAply xD too bad we don't have it but it's not a serious issue... there are workarounds plus you can always hide/fold tracks if you really don't want to see them =3
