Doesn`t on my computer.

I even tried it with the drive way too high.

What sort of noise is yours making, exactly?

Has to be a straightforward explanation, I think.

a short low frequency thump at around -42dbfs. I have 11 instances in my project follow by different kind of saturation and compression. So it's in the beginning of my bounces...

I don't have that plugin but it sounds similar to what I was seeing with AmpliTube4 awhile back and how I fixed it, start @ post 16,
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2129337

Open fx browser, find and select the plugin, right click it, make sure "hard reset on playback start" is checked, you may need to restart REAPER to see if it helps or not.

Just tested it without "hard reset" enabled and get around -51db low freq thump on playback start.

I may be wrong, but isnt that the default option?

It is certainly checked on both my computers & I dont ever recall changing it myself.
Hope this is gass n klang`s solution.

I'd seen somewhere that these plugins, some of them anyway, have "DC" on the output. That will result in a low frequency "noise" which is constant (you can see it with a frequency spectrum meter from 0 Hz to 10 Hz). The fact that you notice it is probably due to having compression and saturation afterward; this will increase the level and also that "low-frequency noise" may trigger compression.

Try using "DC filter" JS plugin after one of those plugins. Look at the output with and without (put a frequency spectrum analyzer at the end of the chain, and you may have to zoom in closer to the noise floor). If you see that fixing the problem, then that's what it was.

I consider this sort of thing to be poorly written code in plugins. I've heard plugin authors make excuses for this, but I don't care. I'll accept it in the case of the "Tube Thingy" JS plugin by Witti, since it's -300 dB or so. But when it's peaking around -40 dB or higher (some plugins have even higher levels of this!)...just no.

"hard reset on playback start" was the problem. If I uncheck it, the output is gone. Could there be any negative consequences of unchecking it?

It depends on the VST. For example, if you have a reverb VST with a long tail, then you might hear the tail from the previous playback when "hard reset on playback start" is disabled.
