Default How do I set the volume envelope of a track to a specific #

I have several tracks in my mix all being sent to a 'Music BUSS' track.
I have used the volume envelope of the Music BUSS track to adjust the volume of the overall song.

However, I have 2 guitars in the mix and I want to use the volume envelope of each of them to increase the volume of just those two in order the highlight them both and want to set the volume envelope of both to be the SAME volume level. The volume level of both will be the same through the entire song.

I have looked around and did a Google search and I can't seem to find a way to do this.

How do I do this?

You could put those two guitar tracks in a folder track and have a single envelope affecting the overall volume of both.

Default I'm still not sure of how to set volume to a specific #

On one track is my saxophone. At one point it has a solo, so I have selected the section of track that has the solo and now I want to put in the volume envelope to +4.00 which is the volume I want it to play during the solo.

I have looked in all the obvious places and can't see how to do this?

Hold Ctrl+Shift while dragging the envelope in the time selection up until it's no longer not loud enough. This creates four points at the boundary of the time selection automatically (but you can add them manually if you want, it's just quicker this way). If you really need an exact amount/round number you can do it with "Set point value" from an envelope point's context menu.

Default BTW, I'd like to learn how to create these short video demos. Any videos on YouTube?

That demonstrate how to do this?

I use LICEcap to make these animated screen captures: https://cockos.com/licecap/. There's a demo video on how to use it on that page.

Default BTW, is it possible to select more than one point at a time?

and change the setting for both at the same time? I tried to and it did not work." I had selected the first point and held down the CTRL key and selected the second point. Now I want to change the volume level of both at the same time to the same level at the same time.

How?

I think you'll need a script to do that, a quick look in ReaPack and I see one that should do the trick,..
X-Raym_Set or Offset selected envelope points value.lua
