Default Amber of the Land - Preconceived Notions (programmed thrash/speed metal)

On Bandcamp

Entirely programmed, no instruments here, I swear.
Mixed and mastered in REAPER with no post/destructive editing beyond vocal trimming and splicing (which itself wouldn't be destructive, but I tend to glue my edits).

I've priced it at $5 currently but I have a bunch of free codes that need claimed anyway.

Grab your key here!

Decided to put 'er down for a bit of money as I think it's probably a promotional issue not a quality to price issue

It a lot to digest so I didn't have time to listen to everything but your album has very competent songwriting and production. You should be very proud! I would if I did this record!

cheers

PS- What did you use for the guitars and bass?

Guitars are Shreddage SFZ, bass is Shreddage Bass Picked Edition SFZ. I wanted to get away from Kontakt for this one, at least and it's what I know (the first Shreddage)

I'm also aware my bass programming isn't the most inventive (sometimes just following the riff or beat)

Also drums are ezdrummer 2 (mostly nashville ezx with modern snare, ride and bass drum), and some tweaks here and there

Anyway blah don't want to bore everyone here. Thank you (=

Sounds really good to me! I'm surprised the Nashville drums sound so good in a metal style. Are the snare, ride, and bass drum from that EZX?

Also what guitar effects did you use?

I could've been more clear, haha. Everything but the ride, kick and snare are Nashville EZX pieces. The ride, kick and snare are default EZD2 "Modern" kit pieces. The kick drum is triggered with a sample I have had laying around for some years.

I quite like a lot of Nashville's kit pieces, and I've used Nashville on a purer form on a prior album. Main thing I'm trying to avoid is people immediately spotting what my kit is- I've heard nearly-unmodified Drumkit From Hell on many metal productions!

(Even Howard Drossin of Comix Zone fame has used DFH in a game OST: https://howarddrossin.bandcamp.com/a...volume-1-metal)

Updated with free Bandcamp keys (in top post) I'd love to get claimed.
