Midi editing

Hi i'm new to reaper!
I'm looking for a sequencer, where i can use vstis and do midi editing without recording ( type in midi notes with mouse )
couldn't get in the first try...

is there any timetable or a roadmap for features like this?
i like the plain ui of reaper - but i need midi editing

Nothing too specific, but I will probably do it within the next 2 months.

maybe put another feature request here : please do a looping tool
mark 1 for start and mark 2 for end of part to be played back in loop to work on drumbeats...
i will check back for new features!!

You can do this now, just select a range, and check the repeat button..
