Default "Smooth abrupt envelope changes by_" for FX bypass (crossfade wet/dry)

This new feature seems quite helpful.
The most common issue I have is with FX bypass so often unbypass slightly early and create a short wet/dry crossfade for any pops/clicks.

It would be great to have something similar for FX bypass/auto-bypass on silence.

As many plugins are fine maybe it could be an FX level setting, or part of buggy plugin mode?

it would be nice to see the effect of smoothing in the curve as a reminder.

More suggestions:

The smoothing timing could default to the default timing for item crossfades (rather than Zero).
It might be nice if each envelope would have it's own configurable smoothing timing.

Question:
Does sample accurate parameter modulation (e.g. VST3 and JSFX) adhere to the smoothing ?
