Default Sample Drum Vsts

HI,

anyone know of a Drum VST that you load your own samples into?

I already have VSTs like EZ Drummer.

Thanks

Not specifically a drum VST, but the free sampler "Grace" from One Small Clue is pretty easy to load your own drum and percussion sounds into.

I used it to sample my acoustic cocktail drum kit before I sold it, and also to sample tons of hand percussion I have. It's a lot easier to play a multi-sampled tambourine from an Akai MPD26 than it is to get out headphones, setup a mic, and record a live one.

Superior Drummer 3 will do it. Would probably work well for you since you already are used to EZD.

https://decomposer.de/sitala.html

Free, simple, modern, excellent.... can drag in samples, but no velocity layering or round robin.

I have Battery 3 and never use it. Pay the NI transfer fee and its yours.

Worth noting that since I never upgraded to Battery 4 you would also inherit that option.
