Multiple outs using sub-projects
Does anyone work with sub-projects and multiple outs? I use 16 stereo stems to mix all the sub-projects in the main project using a "virtual mixer". While this works well in the main project once the sub-project is rendered, I don't hear the individual tracks, that have been sent to the corresponding channels 1/2 to 31/32 depending on the stem I wanted then in, in the sub-project. I can of course assign all track to a separate ST bus but it kind of defeats the purpose. I would like to hear them though that "virtual mixer" that is in the main project. Is that a limitation of Reaper or am I doing something wrong?
