Sorry, can you be a bit more specific about what you see as the bug?

Ok, Look at the gif I've attached. "Write Actively Writting Envelopes to time selection" should make new border points in time selection so that new value made in Preview Mode is written ONLY in tim eselection and not affecting envelope value before or after time selection. Now it's messing up the rest of envelope after time selection. This is something that started to happen in my system after installation of 5.50rc26 when I was looking for deeper integration with my Console 1 (witch works perfectly BTW) :-)

I can't duplicate that... Maybe include the project and reaper.ini in a zip?

Just an idea (can't test atm), is this perhaps dependent on the "Automatically add edge points..." preference ?

Ahh, I was affraid that my config may be messed up because I'm importing my settings since version 4.xx and constatly updating it, never done from scratch.

test.rpp in attachment is just a basic track with preview mode automation. In my system there is a bug when using "Write Actively Writting Envelopes to time selection" action.
Attached Files
File Type: rpp test.rpp (2.5 KB, 237 views)
File Type: ini REAPER.ini (29.4 KB, 287 views)

Still the same issue with mouse modifiers. I don't know why but it's changed my preference in an envelope.

Why would knobs change their order depending on which side of the line they are? That is not supposed to be a feature

I'd rather have the topmost knob centered between the two other sets of knobs, then have the same layout no matter which side of the line they are.

Read the changelog, some mouse modifiers were deprecated, some removed, etc. So - it's all as expected, you'll probably have to readjust your mouse modifiers for some envelope contexts.

I appreciate your humor, Justin..........

It's not a bug. It's a "random feature".

It's not a bug. It's a "sub-optimal handling of a minor fringe condition".

SMPTE Export got broken again somewhere around RC22 at least with 23.976 frame rates (and a start offset). Exporting a start time of 3:59:58:19 is giving me a SMPTE start of 7:59:57:14 in the MIDI file.

We've waited this long, a little longer won't kill us if the Devs are thoroughly testing.

Nothing is not getting done in my shop, anyway.

I've been waiting six months. I'm tired in the new video.

I put it up for patrons only until 5.50 is officially out.

MIDI export is a little more broken than I thought. It's both the bar offset and the SMPTE offset being exported incorrectly. Looks like it broke in RC22. Right now in addition to the SMPTE offset export being incorrect, the bar offset is being ignored. So for example if you have a bar offset of -50 and you export a time selection from measure 1, the MIDI file has everything starting in measure 51, not measure 1. Previous to RC22 this did work correctly.

Almost there

5.50c
+ Bouncing: fixed elapsed time indicator at non-44khz
+ MIDI export: re-fix another SMPTE case [p=1885834]
+ Spectral editing: improve knob control positioning consistency [p=1885746]
+ Automation: fix transitions writing to regions with 0ms transition time [p=1885561]

bugs with spectral edit knobs and clearing envelope crash are both good here.
