Default Presonus-Reaper-Mohave problem

Prior to updating my MacBook to Mohave (10.14) I had a perfect system recording 32-channels through Reaper. After Mohave - Reaper no longer responds to the music.
Setup:
StudioLiver --> S800 Firewire --> Firewire/Thunderbolt --> Thunderbolt --> Mac_system and Presonus Universal Control program --> Reaper --> external HD.

Worked perfectly.

NOW: I can see the live audio showing up in the Mac_Audio setup AND in the Presonus Universal Control mixer -- but, it no longer shows up in Reaper! Yes, of course the Reaper Audio Device is pointing at the Presonus (as always) and the Presonus is the selected Mac Audio device. And, yes, all SW and drivers are current versions.

I failed to capture a recording session with one of my bands last night. I am desperate to fix this.
Any suggestions? I see that Reaper v5.96 does NOT include MacOS 10.14. Do I need to revert my OS to High Sierra - or is there something I am overlooking? Suggestions? H e l p

Presonus StudioLive 32.4.2AI
Firewire S800 —> Thunderbolt
Presonus Universal Control 2.9.1.49508

Macbook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)

macOS Mohave 10.14

Reaper v5.96 (for OSX 64 bit ver 10.5 - 10.13)

Default Apple Response

..... is to downgrade Mohave to High Sierra until Reaper is compatible with Mac OS 10.14 (Mohave). That is unfortunately what I will have to do. -p

Also worth considering is, that Presonus updated Universal Control end of October and that Mojave no longer supports 32 bit software.

I had a look today and was shocked how many software I run is still 32 bit, including plugins.

Audio input needs new authorizations for Mojave:

I have to correct myself: It seems Mojave is the last macOS, that still supports 32 bit.

But in the Native Instruments forum I got the hint, that already on High Sierra it was advisable to use 64 bit plugins. I already did that on Yosemite as I especially also use 64 bit DAWs (Reaper & Studio One).
