Default VST for adding photos on tracks?

This question wold be more for a hardware people. Is there some VST that can load and save photos? I tried some in the past but they either caused problem, loaded only one photo, or required separate photo directory. I need one that save the photos together with the project.
I know I can insert one photo on track ion reaper but that's not enough. it's also a problem when I delete the audio, the photo is gone as well.
So it needs to be VST. Anyone using something that works reliably and saves multiple photos?

You don't need vst. You can put photos directly onto the track.

I don't get it. Do you want to just add photos on tracks or do you want photos as track icons? Both is easy to do. You can add as many photos as you want on your tracks. They will be shown as a tiny icon and of course in the video window. You can stretch them in time. And you can place hundreds of the on one track.

And track icons can just be added over context menu.

So why do you need a vst plugin for photos?

Thanks for the VST suggestions.
Yes I know I can just drop photos on the tracks but gave up on it because I was never able to enlarge them to full size to see details I need to see.

You can see them in the video window as large as you want.

I've tried that. He says SHIFT and UNDERSCORE to go full size but nothing it's not doing it for me. Maybe some setting I'm missing? otherwise that would be even better option than VST.

Shift+Underscore maximizes the track height for images to show up as large as possible in the track lane. And the focus jumps ONLY to the SELECTED picture.

But way better is using the video window. Just go to the menu: View -> Video Window

Every time your image gets under the play cursor it shows up in the video window. You can place the video window where ever you want. Put it in the docker or leave it hovering. With a second monitor you even could watch it full screen while working on the other tracks.

Using the shift+underscore: First select the picture!

Using the video window: Watch the images while playing. Resize like you want. Double click to maximize to full screen!

Hope that helps a bit more.

This is absolutely brilliant. Thanks a lot for that! It will make life much easier. No more describing all photos in folder and getting it often mixed in the end.
