Default stash.reaper.fm is up and needs you to upload your themes! updated 8/18/08

(Help beta test) - Post your themes here:

https://stash.reaper.fm/index.php

Graciously developed by the stashbox.org peoplez.

I went ahead and posted the classic REAPER 0.x theme, which nobody should ever use!

Default Updating a theme in the stash, possible?

I forgot to include one icon in my theme and I wonder if it's possible to update the zip file in the stash.

At the "manage theme" I see only the option to delete the theme, must I delete the old file and upload the new?
What happens if I upload a file with the same filename and extension as the exsisting one, does it replace the old one or just create a new theme ( with it's own page and all..) ?

Something that only replace the current .zip file.

Default UPLOAD size limit on stash?

trying to upload stuff for themes, and it's a 4.5 mb zip file, and stash won't upload it...

what are the size limits, etc? Seems to me that 5 mb's is not very big....

I believe you need review the position of deny access for http://stashbox.org/ to Brazilian REAPER user's.
We have here a great and auspicious market por REAPER, the product acceptance
is excelent and we have an active Orkut Community, the REAPER Brasil (http://www.orkut.com.br/Community?cmm=90569793), currently with 1680 members.
In this community we alread produced various video lessons for REAPER features, maded the translation for Portuguese of the REAMIX Breaking the Barriers with REAPER and of Up and Running: A REAPER User Guide, both from Geoffrey Francis. An financial consortium was maded for to pay the translators, specially contracted for that mission.
Myself recently made the translation for Portuguese of all the REAPER's menus and toolbars, available free for download at http://forum.cockos.com/attachment.p...6&d=1296741806
Balthazar Zenker, the REAPER Brasil community owner, and I, have made a continuous work of REAPER's divulgation and have achieved various new REAPER users, in one market where the use of ilegal software is (or was) a normal fact.
But with all this positive activity, all of us are impossibility of acess the Stash web adress. By other side, this prohibition is a severe limitation for all the work of REAPER divulgation wich we make here in Brazil.
I hope, and wish, you can be sensible for all this arguments and can liberate the access for the Stashbox for the brazilian REAPER users.
Best regards.

Dear Justin,
The stash is nice, but now that repaer is able to use knob stack (larger files) I think the stash should be able to host bigger file than 2mb themes

This site looks and functions like something that was abandoned in 2008.

I agree totally!

I'm forced to host my theme on my website but would prefer it live with the other themes.

Instead, all I can do is post a link to my website for where to download the theme.

Can we please allow larger theme sizes?

Thank you!

Larry

Yes Please! I'm in the same boat.
I've spent days reducing duplicate layout images and recompressing images for my theme. I think I did pretty well by taking it down from 22MB to 4MB uncompressed in size. When I zip it for delivery, it comes in at 2.65MB and I'm planning on adding future toolbar buttons. I have no reduction left aside from removing layout features. I'm not even using 150% or 200% images but would like to. 2MB seems like an unrealistic upload size limitation for the year 2023.
