Default GNX4 input monitoring "turn off" :)

Hello,

I understand that this is an old post, but I will reply anyway. I am a current GNX4 user. My setup works with Windows 7 Sonar X1 and X2 with full functionality..... And of course Reaper. The secret is a beta version updated firmware that is available online.

Regarding your question. There are several ways to turn off input monitoring. Some are software related, but there is also a hardware adjustment. The GNX4 has an adjustment to 100% cut out playing USB or cut out playing the GNX4. It is the USB Play Mix control. This is a very handy control in both directions.

I have a question but I will start a new thread for mine question. It is regarding ASIO drivers. "Why does it seem like Reaper does a much better job of utilizing the ASIO drivers than Sonar X1 or X2.
