OK I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!

PLEASE! If anyone has had this issue, please let me know.

Reaper ver. 4.151
OSX ver. 10.7.2

Issue: Rendering (or lack thereof)

Details:

When I render a master mix, sometimes I will get for example, a missing vocal track. Its just not in the rendered file no matter what I choose for render settings. Even if I choose only the vocal track and render selected tracks. Is not always the vocal track, that's just an example. I tried removing plugins, removing and reinstalling Reaper, im just not sure what to do. I havent been able to properly render since mid version 3 and Snow Leaopard without at least a massive 2 hour struggle.

ALSO: Sometimes when I render (and Cockos fails to recognize my issue), Sometimes NOTHING RENDERS AT ALL!! COMPLETE SILENCE!!! Then after the render is finished, I hit play in the project and get no output audio. I have to exit reaper and go back in. Im sick and tired of these issues and it makes me regret even the small amount I paid for this software! Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out??? I want to render its uh... KIND of important I guess!

I have had this problem in the past, since V4 really.

I found that these issues were to do with one/two of my VST plugins, What to do is if its just vocal tracks, try rendering without any the VST's on and see if they come through. Try each track at a time till you find what is the problem.

mines was reValver by Peavey, crashed or just didnt play through the track, so i got the raw guitar track.

This certainly sounds plugin related. Does this happen with real time online renders?
Make sure you have inform plugins of offline rendering ticked in your preferences.

never had this problem... use reaper since alpha...
if I could bet... I would bet on a plugin too

next time you encounter this problem, instead of quitting reaper, bypass all plugins and see if it plays back. if it does, then you can bypass each plugin separately to see which ones are causing the problem.
