Default Super8 simplified "performance-mode" GUI

While using Super8 I use MIDI to control it, but I keep its GUI open to check the status of the tracks. I like to keep its window to a bare minimum size.

In this scenario the only visual information I need is the color of each pad rectangle. Some of the text labels that are inside the pads disappear when they don't fit, but not all of them; there is a point when RDC, rec and play all overlap and leave almost nothing of the pad visible. Wouldn't it be nice if Super8 didn't draw any text label over the pads when the size is below a minimum threshold?

Default

Also: I have changed the color of the play position bar (on top of the window, just below the title and settigs bar) from dark blue to medium green. Much more visible, and still the white text of length in MS and BPM is visible over it.

Change line 1000 (in function draw_position) from:

gfx_set(0.125,0.25,0.5);

to:

gfx_set(0, 0.7, 0);
