the another thread is in Pre-Release section here https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....3&postcount=10

Although it does not seems visually broken already, now those plugins look really really awful (with that white space).
More in the original bug report thread:
Graphic bug in some of v6's native Rea... plugins

To be honest, visual non-buggy consistency with old v5.x is restored at least, yes.

That was me.
Hm yeah, maybe it doesn't make sense opening a new thread for the to-be-released-version in the pre-release forum for avoiding confusion (though I checked when I posted that it wasn't available on the main download page yet.)

edit:
Or maybe the thread in pre-release section should be moved here as soon as it's official.

No problem

(It is always a dilema where to start the thread about new version if we want to continue discussing bugs etc, so for me it is Pre-Release but I am aware that for majority of "normal" users the General forum is the best way how to announce that the new version is out. I think we have to live with the doubles this way, I mean in different sections of forum).

As recently some work has been going into making the ruler more easily readable in minimal beats mode, would it be possible for the next release to consider taking this even further by visually evidencing 16th notes? Here a mockup of how I imagine this to look:

In popular music the 16th note is in most cases the smallest subdivision (with faster notes occasionally occurring) so it would help a lot in maintaining orientation when arranging and gridding music without having to use the non-minimal mode which can look a bit cluttered with its long numbers.

This would be great

Project Bay "Active Take details" shows velocity variations of the item as volume (dB). Is it intended?

It just acts weird with the tint slider, would be cooler to have separate RGB sliders or to exclude certain elements from the tinting process - like mute/solo buttons, meters, etc.

Wrote a post about it the themes forum:

Ah no it shouldn't for MIDI items, thanks.

I just checked that same FX panel on my system and they are there. Xubuntu 18.04, REAPER 6.11 for 64 bit Linux. I am using a different theme than the stock one though.

The missing checkboxes — you can workaround by either getting the latest SWELL and recompiling it, or by copying *.ico from 6.10’s Resources folder to 6.11’s...

Devs, this proves to be not only unhelpful to me but even annoying..

As it is now, there is not any way to make gfx and reaper API functions to not show without the possibility of other variables being involuntarily hidden too!

It is really nice to be able to search by variables values but it is not working good. I had proposed a solution here but it would be even better if you simply added a checkbox next to "Watch variables" with "Hide gfx/reaper functions".

Please, take into consideration this because, at least for me, the filter box is not useful at all. Thank you!

has anyone else noticed any weird behaviour with plugins going missing? I have a bunch that are not showing up in the FX list - I think only since I installed 6.11. I can load old projects that have them and they run fine, but I cannot select them from the list because they don't appear there. I've tried clearing cache and rescanning, but it didn't help. I can see the DLLs are in the folders. my workaround was to save individual FX as an FX chain, which I can then load easily, but it's becoming tedious to do this for all the missing ones.

any suggestions?

UPDATE: I checked the 'recently used' filter and saw that some have their names missing (see pic: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gfL...ew?usp=sharing). Why would that happen? I thought it was only 32-bit plugins but it's 64-bit ones too - they don't share the same name with others, so that's not the issue. This is frustrating!

Not sure if it's just me, but after updating to 6.11, Reaper freezes at least 90% of the time when I open projects during the loading of plugins. It's not the same plugin either, so I doubt it's the plugins themselves. I end of force quitting Reaper and just trying again until it magically loads after 2 or 3 times.

I'm on Mac 6.11 OS-X 64 bit - not the Catalina version albeit I'm on 10.15.4
