Default JSFX: Learning directory

I just noticed the Learning directory for JSFX at Reaper/Effects/Learning.

In movable-panel, the comment says that there is a v2 with a fix for the panel jumping to the mouse. Is that available somewhere?

Also, does anyone know who wrote these? Just curious.

If you know the fix, don't tell me. I want to figure it out.

There is no 'Learning' directory in my install. Might be an old one.

All I see is Effects/js_tutorial.

Are you looking here? C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\Effects

I'm on Reaper 5.92.

No 'Learning' folder here, either. I reckon you created it some time ago.

Is "moveable-panel" a JS FX in that folder? Or is it a script that belongs somewhere-else?

It's possible that I picked up that directory from somewhere else along the way.

Or, I created it and everything in it and had a complete memory lapse since. Not likely, but it makes for a good psychological thriller. Maybe I should be shutting up about now. Or or, some scripting guru *somewhere* sensed my struggle and inserted it on my drive.

Darkstar, movable-panel is a jsfx in that directory. I'm going with the first scenario of having picked it up elsewhere, as fun as the other two scenarios sound.

Back to learning and shutting up.
