Default Minimized Reaper Crashes when attempt maximize

Every time I minimize Reaper it crashes when attempt maximize. Even if I don't minimize reaper but just use another program for a few minutes when I try to return to reaper it crashes? Any ideas or solutions appreciated thanks. This is making Reaper use impossible and I'm wondering why I paid a license for a great but unusable DAW.

Do you want to give some details about the version of Reaper and the system you're running it on? I'm using 5.90 on Win7 and Win10 and it sits minimised, sometimes for days, then is maximised again with no problems at all.

So it's not a general problem but presumably something about your specific configuration, setup or other components that causes your problem.

Default Minimized Reaper Crashes

This has been happening for a while now. Several versions back, but don't remember the time it started. I'm now using 5.90, Windows 7 Pro, 4GB RAM, HP6200. Report says "APP Crash".

Default Reaper was not the problem - Fixed - No more Crashes

Thanks for your response and am sorry for wasting your time. Another program was causing the problem. I thought it was Reaper because the problem was only affecting Reaper. Looks like a bad interaction.

I use a program called 4t Tray minimizer to keep VST GUI windows on top etc. It is very helpful in windows.

So I uninstalled it completely then reinstalled, plus deactivated nearly all settings and hot keys except the most important ones I use all the time. Result is no more Reaper crashes [of this type] .

I've been using 4T Tray Minimizer for years on the same system with Reaper and have never had any issues with the combination whatsoever. Just to let you know.
