Default no Reaper tooltips captured

I was trying to do a short tutorial for someone to show a way to detect tempo from a file when I noticed that Reaper pop-up tooltips aren't captured.

Here's the licecap (a bit useless though):

I could see the tooltip pop-up on my screen when doing that capture.

And another unrelated thing:

I noticed that Licecap does only stay on top of other windows when recording has started. I think it should always stay in front or have an option for that

Win XP32 SP3, Matrox G550 dual-head (old, but working fine otherwise)

Now that's strange seeing the other captures where it works.
any clues ?

also, what do you (or someone else) say to my other point, worth a FR ?

example;
Have Reaper maximised, start Licecap (but don't record yet), click on Reaper window (to adjust something before recording), Licap hidden behind reaper.

Haven't made my mind up yet about the window, sometimes it's useful that it disappears as long I'm not ready for the shot yet, so an option would be nice. The problem being that someone has to implement that, our FRs are mostly addressing people who want to play with the source code, not JCS I guess.

As for the missing tooltips, I'm seeing the same on my XP computer. "Capturing overlays" seems to be a bit of a problem on XP (try to make a screenshot of a video running on XP...) and that apparently applies to tooltips as well.

Ah...overlays.
Also had that screenshot blank experience before but never could figure why it happens. Overlays is still quite unknown to me.
Think I will read a bit about it.

Thanks.
