M Track QUAD need to record on 4 microphones

Hey guys,

I have the M Track QUAD interface and im trying to record on 4 microphones at once for a podcast with 4 people talking. I set that up through the preferences but playback is only coming through in one headphone not both. I assume its because I had to set it to mono to use all 4 inputs at once.

Ive tried going through the preferences but cant seem to get playback through both headphones. Double checked and headphones work in both for other audio. Any ideas?

Give us some details of the setup...you're talking about playback but my spidey sense tells me the problem is with monitoring the live signal...is that correct?

Then explain how your routing to monitor is set up....are you monitoring via Reaper or with the interface direct monitor??

Or if it really is playback after the recording..what does the waveform look like.....stereo with one side missing or mono?

Im sorry but I have zero legitimate audio engineer vocabulary...

I have QUAD connected to desktop with USB, 4 microphones connected to inputs on front of QUAD. Listening to playback AFTER recording. So I record something, then play it back and it only comes in one speaker. My headphones are hooked up to front of the QUAD interface.

Im not even sure how to listen to live recording... How would I do that?

OK so please confirm if you import a stereo recording of a commercial track does it play in both speakers (or headphones....not clear if you're using both or just headphones) and if it does can you screencap a pic of the waveforms of the vocal tracks in Reaper.
