How to hide sidechain waveform after track has been frozen up to last selected FX?

This one never bothered me before until now that I have to heavily edit a frozen item. When I cut and move portions of the item around, there is a greyed out waveform of the sidechain track underneath it. Very small edited items are hard to see now. How can I get rid of the sidechain waveform background? The sidechain waveform is obsolete to me anyways as the track is printed and cut to pieces.
