enhanced podcast production in Reaper
Welcome to Ultraschall, an extension of Reaper that focuses on the needs of podcasters.
In 2014, the German podcasting scene was growing rapidly, with the number of productions increasing by the hour.
However, the tools available at the time were either very limited or quite expensive for new podcasters. This was unbearable, so rstockm started investigating this cool, highly customisable software he'd heard about called Reaper to see if it could be adapted to the needs of podcasters.
Thus was born Ultraschall, a free extension of Reaper to satisfy the needs of podcasters.
Since then we have grown into a team and have reached version 5 of Ultraschall. We simplified the routing, we added remote podcasting and livestreaming of podcasts (via the StudioLink-plugins).
We added a soundboard, we streamlined the recording, editing and exporting of podcasts, including metadata.
We added a Soundcheck that warns you when you are about to make a common mistake that could ruin your production. All of this tied together in a wonderfully minimalist theme - making Ultraschall not only the most feature-rich, but also the best-looking overall solution for podcast production.
And much more.
And we have a user base of around 10.000 podcasters around the world using our software solution.

https://github.com/Ultraschall) and free for you to use? All you need is an installed version of Reaper and you can install Ultraschall to start podcasting.

We are standing on the shoulders of giants.
We have been reluctant to promote Ultraschall in the English-speaking world. The reason was simply a lack of resources.
However, we now have

How to Use it:
Just install Reaper version 6.27 and then install Ultraschall from our site.
One important thing: we currently don't support portable installations, only regular installs. So if you install Ultraschall, we will overwrite(!) your regular installation with our new setup. No return to the previous setup possible!
