MIDI note label : channel number
* Request
- there should be an option to display channel numbers on every midi note.
* Benefit
- You dont have to go trough a menu to find a notes channel number.
- you dont have to select the note.
- you dont need to use an inspector..
- You could fully utilize the flexibility of the FX chain. Channel numbers provides
endless oportunities for manipulation , but only if their gradation is exact and
visually accessable.
- you can use note colors for something else. Colors are good for distinction, but
are a bad way to represent numbers.
* Reason
- Channel numbers are embedded in the midi note (just as velocity) , but lacks
a good visual representation. They dont have lanes, or a label.
But they are critical for how the fx chain works.
The gradation 1-16 can be useful in fx programming.
Colors is also a poor way to represent numbers.
The gradation of channels are such that they wouldnt be well reprented by using a lane either.
