Thank you in advance for the help.
I currently produce a few radio spots every week via garageband on my imac, but i'm trying to make the switch to linux, and i'm hoping that Reaper will be my new go-to audio recording/editing app via WINE
My problem-- I can't get reaper to recognize my Blue Yeti mic, so at the moment my experiment is dead in the water.
what i've tried-- i've tried following the instructions given at this link, but with no success...
https://www.homemusicstudio1.com/con...record-reaper/
specifically, i've gone to
Options > Preferences > Device > Audio settings > WDM Kernel Streaming (Windows XP)
When i do this, the "Input Device" options are blank. I think thats where the Blue Yeti mic is supposed to be.
Any ideas? Does anyone know if Reaper for Windows, run through WINE, will run a microphone through Linux?
my system info--
Dell Latitude E6430s
Peppermint OS 8
WINE
Reaper v.5.62/x64 (Evaluation Liscense)
I am certain that my mic is hooked up and working properly, because Audacity finds it immediately.
Any help would be much appreciated. I would love to walk away from garageband and start using Reaper.
