Default Yamaha P35 very low velocity

several months ago a i've bought a Piano for about 500 euros (Yamaha P35)
I was blown away since it was my first real MIDI Piano. However
After connecting to pc the issue began, (Velocity is very very low)
This is going like for months and its frustrating i don't want to increase the volume in the daw like 100% to make this sound as other keyboards do.

Can anyone tell me what i should do?

I have UM ONE MK2

Thank you

According to the P35 manual you have the option to change the Touch Sensitivity on the P35 itself.
Or have a look at the JS: MIDI Velocity plugins inside Reaper.

I've always found that with Yamaha MIDI keyboards you really have to slam them to get full 127.

Luckily you can alter this with JS effects, search MIDI in the effects filter and add them as an Input FX to print them to the recorded MIDI.
