Built-in reverb plug-ins question
One thing about the reverb plug-ins that always caught me.
Whenever you do some panning using either ReaVerb or ReaVerbate, weather you do pan adjustments to left or right, the reverb signal on these plug-ins goes all the way to the destination channel instead of reverberating on both channels.
Is there a workaround for this, or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
Edu Camargo.

You'll maybe need to explain a little better exactly what you're doing.
Both of these plugs are essentially mono>stereo. They will take 2 channel (stereo) input, but these get summed together, then that mix it processed differently for each of the two output channels to create "stereo" output. Actually, the stereoness at the output depends Width in ReaVerbate and on both Width and the actual impulse in ReaVerb. Neither however, represent the actual stereo position of anything coming in.

Everything about these reverbs are set to their respective defaults. I've just inserted a reverb bus track using ReaVerbate and adjusted all the receives accordingly. Then I'm gonna do some panning adjustments to certain instruments, but whenever I put everything to left or right, the reverbs only reflect on the left or the right, and they only sound stereo when the material is centered.
I have a collection of reverbs from the Komplete 11 Ultimate library, RC24 and RC48, and also the Renaissance Reverb from Waves. With those plug-ins no matter the stereo position, the reverbs are in both channels... And I'd love to have the same effect with the ReaVerbs, since I love the response I get from these plug-ins.
Thanks again for your feedback.

You just need to make the sends mono - channel 1 for left, 2 for right.

One trick I use is to swap pins 1 & 2 on the reverb plugin input. Now anything panned left automatically has its reverb panned right, and vice versa. It gives a nice stereo effect on anything panned away from center, but anything panned to center has its reverb at center too.

Sorry for the delay.
What are the steps for the suggestion above?
Thanks.

It's similar to my pin swapping trick. Open the reverb plugin, click the '2 in 2 out' button, then untick either 1 or 2 on the left side for mono.
Or to swap L & R, set it so 1 goes to VST In 2, and 2 goes to VST In 1

You could send it Pre-Fader and adjust the amount of verb on the verb bus. If you wanted to control the output of both the send track and the reverb track you could add a VCA track to do that.
Or you could use 2 busses for the reverb and set their output pins so that they are opposite.

I also just got to thinking, you could set the reverb bus up with a true stereo configuration. The link below has a
true stereo setup, it's a zip that has a FXChain as well as a Track Template. It uses ReaVerb, but the same
configuration can be used with ReaVerbate.
https://stash.reaper.fm/23039/True%2...o%20Reverb.zip If you need help placing the FXChain and/or the Track Template, please ask, either I or someone will help you.

Guys, it's been a long time far from this forum, and some time ago I brought up a question regarding the behavior on these built-in verb plug-ins.
Recently I discovered on This video about the mono send already mentioned in this thread, and the trick was exactly what I was looking for, in particular with the Reaverb and Reaverbate. The idea was to keep the verbs flowing in stereo, regardless of the pan position of a track.
Now there's another question:
Is there a way or action that allows us to specify mono sends for selected tracks instead of setting it for each track?
Thanks for your suggestions, links and all the support.
Peace,
Edu Camargo.
