Default Snap Grid Not Aligning Properly (non 4/4)

upload photos

Projects set to a 5/4, 3/4 etc time signature that have the grid set for (whole notes 1 or 1/2) the grid shows as if it is 4/4

Example:

The minimum grid setting has to be 1/4 in order for the grid to line up properly.

Metronome clicks ONE on 1.1, 2.1, 3.1 etc. The grid should work accordingly regardless of the time signature.

This was an FR that was marked as implemented. It has not been implemented as far as I can tell. It is still a bug. Banned suggested to post here so I thought I would. Link to FR:

Somewhat new to Reaper and I just noticed this as well. Really annoying. Developers please listen and fix this! This is pretty crucial if you're not working in 4/4, which is a lot of us.

I just discovered this same problem when setting up a song in 6/8. Is this a bug or is there a setting I'm missing?

Just to add to this: the timeline indicators may also get messed up in 4/4 when using different tempi:
