Default end fx start fx

hi. this is for custom default multi type of tracks especially for use with templates of tracks.

start fx (fx chain fx option on track) - this fx after select this option will always stay at first position in fx chain of track.

end fx (fx chain fx option on track) - this fx always stay at end of chain in track.

draggin n droppin fx on chain/track with options with selected this type of fx options in chain will always prevent these fx (start/end fx) from move from their positions.

for ? example:

if you want track with saturation always at end of fx chain. kind of saturation track.
you drag n drop other fx and this fx with option (end fx) always stay and end of fx chain. in this case saturation vst. dragged fx will be sorted before that fx with this option.
this is for all kind type of tracks mainly idea based on their end fx plugin in fx chain - end of track.

simple bomb idea.

I've asked for the same thing a few times.
It would be great for creating custom channel strips that are loaded by default (like a custom harrison mixbus track).

I'm now considering just creating template tracks that are routed to other tracks that have these effects loaded. It's just a shame that so much prep has to be taken and it would not feel fluid if new tracks are added.

Also, I considered using subprojects for each track and having the mixing effects loaded on the track containing the subproject items. The problem with that is the disconnection/solitude that each subproject has (not being able to reference midi items from other projects while in the piano roll).

The simplest, and IMHO, best addition mixing wise, would be to have start/end or pre/post effect chains for tracks.

exactly. the simplest is always best.
i think its rather superveasy and fast to implement. way of use it. many

its just option for each single selected fx in chain to be moved at begin or end of fx chain.

add

post and pre fx its another thing BTW

You could use folderify.lua technique as a workaround, meaning 3 tracks instead of only 1 track.

rather too much complex for me for this purpose and key is to make this in one track.

Post and Pre FX sections would be soooo useful for mixing.

Harrison Mixbus has it's mixing effects built in.
But Reaper can do better with custom FX chains.

Look at how Pyramix does it (with VS3 chains).
