Default Hardware controllers for reaper

Hi All,

are there any recommended or proprietary hardware controllers for reaper.
For example could I use a Digidesign C24 with Mac Pro.

Thanks in advance.

Cockos doesn't like hardware controllers and doesn't see a need for them because they are programmers and not serious mixers and therefore there is little support for control surfaces if any. It is why Reaper is not being taken more seriously by producers and engineers all around the world.

Mmmm interesting!
I have looked on the Cockos Wiki and there is a brief list of supported controllers though only the Mackie Control Universal is in anyway desirable.

I am actually looking to use Reaper for ambisonic mixing so there isn't any other choice. All other DAW software is difficult to configure for this.
Reaper is a doddle but I am getting fed up with just the mouse.

Cheers,
Ronan.

Oh, and I quite like Reaper - both the software and the ethos.

support hasn't thus far been great with control surfaces but it will hence the osc development that is winding everyone up.

to the OP - any controller that has MCU emulation capability would be the short answer and give deep features.
at the cheaper end automaped devices seem popular. bcf/bcr2000s and others can be used in various ways, depends what you need to control and level of feedback you'd like.
