req: Empty/Space tracks

this wouldn't do anything other then being useful for visual organization. Spaces in TCP and MCP to separate contexts:



edit: being able to set an image , background color and notes would probably be useful here

It's already possible somewhat by creating a walter track layout that is completely blank. You can also place an empty text item on that same track that extends out like your picture creating a visual divider. That make all that a track template.

Color works perfectly for visual organization and even in the Navigator.

Thank you karbon! i am not into Walter at all! can we achieve something like: "Had new empty track"?

Tracks and items. Even in a project of say 100 tracks, in the navigator I can see all my guitars in red and find what I need very quickly.

ahh ok ; ) i have set automatic colors for tracks named : bass, drum, synth etc.
You think it is redundant the request?

Idk, but I mean, I wouldn't use it. I would use a folder and modify the layout or something like that. Also the really nice thing about folders is they can show all the child waveforms together on that track.

You could even fake it with a custom layout, as mentioned. Then you can put note items there or whatever.

ok! folders and tracks have much more functionality then this would need, taking i guess more resource. Anyway! i should learn how achieve this: "add new empty track" in a click by changing something in Walter which i still don't know. Ohh my gosh i just want to do music and spend so much time on configuration : )

Yea, I know how that goes, but I finally have cooled off on the customization and now I can work so fast! It's important for me because I forget things very quickly and I'm easily distracted by frustration.

Folders don't take more resources than normal tracks.
