Default Advice for loop-based work in Reaper

A friend of mine is looking into getting his 10 year old daughter daw software for music production. I of course suggested Reaper, but learned that they're interested in working with loops which is an area I'm completely clueless about.

I know reaper can do loop-based stuff, but I guess my question is where do you get loops from? I guess if I understand right, you can get loop libraries that would have basic drum, bass, and other instrument parts that could be used in a project.

If that's the case I'd be interested in what basic loop library might be recommended?

Appreciate any advice on this.

Yes, you can buy loop libraries. Sorry, I can't recommend anything, as I don't use typically pre-recorded loops.
