Default Crazy Scrolling! (SOLVED)

<SOLVED> I must have hit a scrolling command earlier, because I cannot get my project to stop scrolling to the beginning of the song. It'll play through the entire song, but I'm unable to edit the 2nd half of the song because it automatically scrolls to the first bar! Any ideas?

Sure, I've been looking all over the place.

UPDATE:
So, even when I go to Preferences to (for example) look at my mouse modifiers, I'm unable to scroll using the mouse wheel because the bar on the side moves up. It's really odd. I thought "maybe this is my mouse" and replaced the battery. But even with the mouse turned off, if I use the arrows to scroll through, it still jumps around. I'm using (and have for quite some time) a larger monitor via HDMI on my laptop. Any chance this could be the issue?

This is the best I could do: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nlaeivze3q....TRIM.MOV?dl=0

I've attached a video file to my dropbox account showing the issue. Thanks!

My IT guy at work said to check the left arrow button on the keyboard. That's an obvious suggestion and one that I will check when I get home. But I don't think that's the issue, since it only scrolls like that when I click on the project. We'll see...

Thank you for making suggestions.

I had a similar issue a few years ago and drove me nuts. Here later I come to find out it was because my video driver was out of date... I think it was an ATI... once I updated it, it stop doing it. Not sure if you are having the same issue, but try to check your video driver for the latest.

Thank you for that suggestion! Last night I ended up bringing a mouse and keyboard home from work just to see if the problem was somehow related to the one I was using and BAM! It finally worked correctly. I inspected the previous keyboard and mouse and couldn't find any issues with them, which is frustrating. But at least I can get back to making music again.

Sounds similar to a problem I was having.

Maybe try going to:
Preferences > Editing Behavior
and changing "Horizontal zoom center" to "Mouse cursor."

Default Mouse Acting Strange

not sure if anyone can help, but recently when I edit, my mouse is acting odd. if I highlight a wav track and go to drag it, a property menu opens up. question is how do I get the mouse just to do the minimum? I do not want fancy stuff, this all started a month, I cannot tie the actions to any updates, because I am not sure. but editing now is a real pain when the mouse pointer just opens up things by itself..
