Do you have an OSC control surface configured? Port 9000 UDP is the default port for OSC in REAPER so it's probably detecting that...

Yes I do.

I already had an access rule in Norton that allowed reaper.exe to access the network. And I do not get that warning with v5.25. OSCII-bot was not running in either case.

I ended up having to add the second rule (even though the first one was all that was needed for v5.25 and it should encompass the second rule):

It's odd that v5.25 and v5.26 behave differently.

Has this version been pulled back by Devs?

Download page is still showing 5.25 and my installed version (5.25) says "REAPER is up to date - the current version is the latest" when I check for updates from Help menu.

They forward date the release versions, that is the date it will go 'live' on reaper.fm (as I understand). It is available early in pre-release to check the sort of things that darkstar reported above.

This happens every time there's a new release. The new version gets put up a day or so early but doesn't appear on the main website until that date is hit.

yes correct the forward dating is only since this pre and was presumably done to prevent "why is it not up?!" confusion cant win

I think Norton flagged 5.26 since it is new and hadn't been seen yet, so the rule didn't apply (probably why it says CS after reaper)

Don't think so - some previous new versions did get reported as "Reputation" - but that just means "too new to assess".

This one is a different report: on what Norton sees the .exe doing, not on the 'status of the .exe itself. I named the new rule "Reaper CS" (for Control Surface), just to distinguish it.

No biggie, but the difference from v5.25 is curious. Oh, I should say it's the 32-bit Reaper.

Default Why no HTML Links in Pre's?

Another way to add links to changelogs with an online tool: http://regexr.com/3ed42.

It only takes a click of a button. I was already converting those ID's to clickable URLs in my app so figured why not try to make a forum compatible option. I'm not sure I can post the Exe here? (or even a link to the Exe, many forums don't allow that).

App is Windows only. Download from stash.
Search stash for Reaper v5 Whats New

Example output from "Reaper v5 Whats New v1.08"
v5.32rc2 - January 12 2017
+ JSFX: improve retina support for various analysis plug-ins
+ ReaScript: ensure IDE is not completely offscreen when opening
+ Undo: include modified envelopes in undo states when modifying time map [t=186284]
+ Video: include fullscreen state in screensets
+ Video: restore fullscreen state on re-open if window not docked
# Notation editor: fix potential crash when attempting to arpeggiate autodetected tuplets (word salad alert)

Full changelog - Latest pre-releases

Hey thanks man! That has gone straight on my desktop. If I ever am first to turn up a new pre I will post with links.

From now on I'll be reading change logs with this tool, love the colour schemes right out of the box. Excellent work!

Unfortunately not yet completely fixed.

As reported in MIDI either exporting or importing tempo maps incorrectly, some markers are not correctly exported or imported, whether exporting the entire project or only the time selection.
