Default Playback tempo depends on CPU usage - can this be fixed?

Hi!

sorry for duplicate from a general forum, but here this post is more appropriate.

There are 2 problems with playback/recording:

1) A playback tempo depends on CPU usage - if I attempt to record in a large project, I can't listen to a stable click - - in the end, it's bad for the record - under an unstable metronome it is impossible to play smoothly...

2) there is a stutter when I press the first key on the midi keyboard after start record - at moment, when a new item is created - it also annoys me... It happens even in project with one track, but with 96 kHz selected. (all scripts are switched off). So I have to punch in record earlier per one bar so that this instability occurs before playing a first note..

Is it possible to make, that even if playback with cracks (CPU overload), but a click is stable, as it realized, for example, in Cubase?

Rather Obviously too low CPU power for the VSTs used.

Could you freeze some tracks to free up CPU cycles?

No, this topic isn't about CPU power, but about behavior of DAW working.

Same track with VSL imperial piano in Cubase 96khz session on same computer I can record without stutter even if set a buffer size half as much. (I can to make a proof video)

Can a moment of creating a new midi item be the cause of stutter?

About overall behavior of Reaper work with CPU-intensive projects - imagine if the tempo and tonality of songs in your phone's player depend on how charged the battery - 90% accum = 120 Bpm C-dur, 20% accum = 60 BPM G-dur - is this normal? (I'm exaggerating now). As I think, a click must be a separate process during recording, not depends on a project-complexity, arranger needs for stable rhythm in any situation
