Default Bind loop and time selection in MIDI editor

Any idea how I can have the midi editor ruler select loop and time together always ? It seems intermittent.

How do your mouse modifiers look in MIDI ruler context?

I think I have it set correctly but loop and time keep unbinding. I notice that it happens when I loop OUTSIDE the midi media item. Submit a bug ?

With the option Loop points linked to time selection that doesn't seem to happen. But if those are not linked, Edit loop point and time selection together action behaves a bit differently. Dragging must be started right above the piano roll, bottom of the ruler. If dragging is done higher up in the ruler area, only loop area will be created.

Same already in v.6.78, not a pre-release issue.

Excellent. I never would have figured that out. If my cursor splits the bottom of the ruler as I drag it links them. Drag just above it and they are unlinked. Thanks for the nice trick.
