I copied them to the following respective locations, as recommended: /usr/local/lib/vst/ /usr/local/lib/clap/ The ROM file for the Virus B "Access Virus B (am29f040b_4v9).BIN" or Virus C has to be placed in the same folder(s). Last edited by Pre34; 05-01-2023 at 05:23 PM. |

For this plugin, the terminal command would be: ldd libDSP56300Emu.so I never tried the VST3 or Clap versions, but the VST works fine for me. Ubuntu 22.10, AMD, Reaper 6.77 It's a great sounding plugin! Good luck |

VST2 version has been working fine for me in Debian 11 for a long time. I just put the now called libOsirus.so into my home .vst folder and copy the Virus ROM .bin file there. That's it.
However, I sometimes test different versions of plugins and I do remember trying VST3 and CLAP and they didn't get recognised by Reaper. Oh well, usually VST2 versions are most efficient anyway, so I don't worry about it. It is possible that VST3 and CLAP versions depend on some additional libraries so trying: ldd libOsirus.so or in VST3 case: ldd Osirus.so will tell you which ones are missing. Be careful to type "O"... not "o" I tried to test the VST3 version again and it doesn't show any missing libraries for me, but Reaper didn't recognise the VST3 version until I made folders Osirus.vst3/Contents/x86_64-linux and put the Osirus.so there. Now it's working. So there, another possible reason why it's not working for you. Sometimes when a VST3 plugin is not working you have to make these folders for the plugin and put it there. Yeah, stupid, right. Cheers!
