Default Peak drawing zooming bug (Live with it)

watch the small peak where I put the marker, it disappears and reappears as I zoom in/out

Reaper 3.52rc3 WinXP32 Sp3

note:
I applied a small take volume envelope at this section (also seen in the gif), maybe it's got something to do with it.,

Revisiting this, linked from another thread.

I'm wondering why it's marked with FIXED ? (I didn't do it afair.)
I still get the same behaviour in R5.94 with the project from the post above.

Ok, maybe it's a 'Live with it' but to be picky, that's not quite the same as FIXED imo.

Yeah I think it's a live with it (limited resolution of the peaks w/ volume envelope), at least for now.

Man... there are several hundred threads that would benefit so much from an official "Probably just live with it" post. :P

^hahaaa- closely followed by "annoyed, bored with it" + the complimentary chorus of> "gonna die with it"... sigh
it is mildly annoying though tbh-a lot of graphic glitches are existing still..

now if cockos only had another set of capable hands+brain >these sayings may fade away...quicker..
is this linked to the [waveform media peak caching resolutions] // [[desired cache resolution]] {default of 300samples.p.s.} tweaker in prefs?

any test that?

I see what you mean, but this doesn't actually bother me. I never really need vertical readouts to be anything more than a general idea of the waveform. It's the horizontal accuracy that's more key for me.
