Default Mixer in V6 need to be rearranged, LIST HERE

Hello!
We need to make the list of features in mixer what we need in v6!!! :

From me:
- folders different than standard track (it's so confusing right now), or at least have space between,
- linked hiding folders with TCP (and TCP with one click hide, not minimize)
- minimized layout (numbers instead of faders, just like Ableton type)
- hiding groups with children tracks (now I know I could hide, but folders without children, wtf?)

For me, the Default Mixer layout variants are just nice.

But some time in future I might take a look at the Heda mixer. Did you ?

Hi Sievr

In my impression your requests would be more appealing if described in more details

SWS Autocolor window. Make folder tracks automatically a different layout in tcp and mcp.

with custom actions it's possible already, I have 3 videos on the topic (listed oldest to newest)

someone already made the layout for you, just have to add it to your favorite theme.

I don't even know what you're saying here but probably the videos above answer

The autocolor/layout SWS options are so nice, but they are very slow. When adding a track (just one example), it's re-processing every track in the project to figure out color/layout. With big track counts, it slows down any kind of project manipulation in a really bad way - hopefully if it's coded in a more core/efficient way these slowdowns can be alleviated.

Huge supporter of improving nested folder appearance.

A coding-like structure in the mixer (indents) would really help organize things.

TRIGGER WARNING: not an artist lol.

I know it throws the fader positions out of alignment but I'm sure someone visually gifted can sort that out.

I've never noticed it. less than half a second here with 80 tracks.

steps to show the problem?

I'll post an example of the above as soon as possible.

Last suggestion: Melodyne-Style zooming. It's the most natural, fulfilling experience ever. Hold Ctrl-Shift and drag, with Vertical axis controlling height and Horizontal controlling width simultaneously. It takes a single quick gesture to zoom into exactly what you want with perfect smooth adjustment of height and width.

you could already do this:

options -> preferences -> mouse modifiers ->
arrange view -> middle drag -> default action (hand scroll + horizontal zoom + inverted)

THIS SHOULD BE DEFAULT SETTING
i cant imagine work without this
