Default Requesting Reaper Sample Projects

Hey everybody!!

Requesting sample projects for reaper!

I really find it inspiring looking at how people use the vast flexibility that a DAW offers in creative ways.

I started working on music on fl studio, which had tons of sample projects, which were really inspirational to learn from - great music, and interesting approaches.

I really would like to see the different ways in which reaper is being used, and get inspired.

So, if you can upload interesting projects, it would be great. I'm sure it would be a great resource for many newcomers.

Here's a project i found extremely fascinating, by steindork ( i guess its ollie's old avatar ) - It helps to simulate an AM radio using built in JS plugs. Really really creative

You can download the wave files of each project listed and attempt to mix them.

Some have reaper project attached. Some projects have dry guitars and bass track to which you can add your amp sim. So far I haven't found a project with midi files but I haven't tried all of them.

When I am bored I download projects from there and mix

Great, nevertheless, I'd still be able to learn mixing techniques. But, yea, i really wish we can have more midi based production resources and example projects. I hope to make some available in the future.

Some odd and discarded attempts on stock-REAPER-only projects (first one only MIDI):

I guess the best way is to zip the .rpp file and the folder containing the necessary samples. I would do it by using the 'save project as' option, and checking the following options, 'create subdirectory for project' , 'copy all media into project directory'.

Here it is, mixed and un-mixed versions. The songs not done yet, but it'll give ya somethin to work with. Oh, if you wanna listen to the mixed version you need synth1 and a few other effects that rock.

Synth1: http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/s...Synth1V112.zip
SH-1 reverb and delay: http://rekkerd.org/sweetboy-vst/
