The new marker and region wildcards

Hi guys,

So you plan to do a mastering project, and now REAPER offers two new wildcards for markers and regions:
“$marker(name)”
“$region(name)”

So the markers have info that is designed to DDP format, for example: #TITLE=Song|PERFORMER=Artist|ISRC=USABC2100001

Will these wildcards allow me to get such marker information to metadata, like:
Title=$marker(TITLE)
Artist=$MARKER(PERFORMER)
How do these new wildcards actually work, and will they do in a way that I'll be able to automatically add metadata to the songs at once?
