Default Where does Reaper save MIDI tracks?

Hello!

When I record MIDI tracks with my keyboard, Reaper asks me if I want to save the track when I stop the recording- just like it does with recorded audio. But when I check my recording folder, I can only find my audio tracks, but no MIDI tracks.

Where does Reaper save the MIDI tracks?

REAPER saves MIDI data in the project file by default. That can be changed in preferences or if you need to use the MIDI somewhere else, you can just export it to a MIDI file.
