Default Stereo reverb question, how to widen but keep dry source centered

Hi all, just getting started and have a probably stupid question. Is there a way to get the reverb tails to widen in the stereo image while keeping the dry signal centered. This is in reference to vocals.

Thx!

Send from your mono vocal to an aux track with the reverb inserted set 100% wet and put any widening effect after the reverb.

maybe mid-side processing? I think it also depends on the reverb. What kind of verbs are you running
