Audio Take FX on MIDI Items - Confusion.

Dear Cockos and Reapers.

Situation:
A MIDI Item on VSTi Track in Arrange view.

Now, Reaper will allow for putting Audio plugin FX in the MIDI Item Take FX Chain.
But why ?!
Cause these Audio plugin FX won't work ; they don't process the audio coming out of the VSTi.
This is confusing.

So, my 2 cents:

Either make it impossible to put Audio plugin FX in a MIDI Item Take FX Chain.
(for example, by popping a message that this can't be done)
Or, (ofcourse my favourite) : putting Audio plugin FX in a MIDI Item Take FX Chain WILL work.

You can have VSTi in take FX, then it'd work.

FX can be audio or MIDI. look at all the JSFX MIDI plugins. There are also MIDI VST plugins. And as EvilDragon says, VST instruments also need MIDI.
