HELP! New WIn10 OS - All USB controllers dead!

I'm in a bit of trouble here. Important gig tomorrow and my pc has a huge problem.


I just installed a newer update of Windows 10. Because I didn't have much time, for the first time ever I did a standard install, instead of formatting the boot drive first. That may not be a factor, but worth mentioning.

So, I ran the install, and most things seemed the same as yesterday, except for my desktop color, and the settings on my audio interface. Fixed those quickly, of course.

And everything runs, except none of my usb controllers work. That is:
My Roland keyboard, my BCR2000, and my iLOK dongle.

My trackball & computer keyboard work, so I don't have a global usb problem.

Oddly, Reaper SEES my two controllers. The prefs settings look right. Just no communication.

I checked Device Manager, and made sure that none of the USB hubs have "allow computer to turn it off" checked. A few HAD been checked, but un-checking them did not solve this problem.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
