Using it these days for a course on Ambisonics. MacPro 2013, macOS 12.3.1, Reaper 6.57: nothing bad to say about it, we only use it for output. Nothing special about the setup in Reaper, just more outputs than your average audio interface!

Cool. Was it easy to setup and get to using?

Downloaded and installed the driver. Connected the Thunderbolt 2 cable. Connected the DB25 cables. As I said, the real difference is more outputs than your typical stereo audio card.

With our ad hoc speaker array right now, the "pain" is installing the array heavy speaker stands (with cast-iron bases) and managing the AC and analog audio cables to the Neumann KH 80 speakers.

I've used mine flawlessly with Reaper. I'm using all 32 analog inputs with various mic pres. The connectivity is on point. Universal Control software (PreSonus) is easy to set up and configure as you like it. Great bang for the buck.

Only gripe is my unit is a Thunderbolt 2 output, while my PC has a Thunderbolt 3 PCiE card. Needed an additional adapter to make the connection.

OK thanks for letting me know what is what. I am currently using the Motu 24AI and AO along with Motu 16a and have been thinking about changing things up a bit I just want to get the general idea of how this unit works.

I have the OG Quantum - 8 Channels, 2 Headphone outs etc.

It's the best, least hassle, blazingly fast interface I've ever used. It sounds great and is the most stable interface I've used. Had a Fireface 800 before this for YEARS.

Love mine.
