Default Numa Player

I've downloaded Numa player and it's in my VST plugins list for reaper , but when I look for it in my Fx list in reaper it's not there. What have I done? Millsy

Did you do a "ReScan" Options/Preferences/Plug-ins/VST?

Do you know where you installed the vst3 file and is it in your VST plug-in path?

Are you on Windows or MAC?

Do you have a value in the Filter box in the FX dialog?

Mine shows up if I select All Plugins, VST3i or Instruments.

How do you see it in "The plugins for reaper"?

So, I can see Numa player in my folder where all my vsts are. When I downloaded it I put it in there without a problem. Millsy

You don't download and put anything in a folder.

You download an installer, you run the installer. The installer installs the plugin.

Sounds like you are looking at the standalone version which isn't what's used by Reaper.

When you went through the install process you should of installed both the standalone version which has a .exe extension, and the VST (the one you want for reaper) which is called "Numa Player.vst3". The .vst3 file needs to be in the folder you are scanning. Either copy the file or add the path to your scan path.
