Default SOLVED

Wow okay just when I thought I was getting on top of the tech stuff and getting ready to actually record a first project! The sound starts only working through the left head phone!

So I have tried to adjust the master settings to stereo
I've checked in the audio options I cant see any thing there a miss

I must have just clicked a setting and now have no idea how to get it back

I've checked the head phones them selves and the fault is not there!

One day I will record!

Anyone else had a similar problem!

Check your pan settings?
Check your input output settings on your audio interface?
Link or unlink the left and right channels on your audio interfac?
Check the input output cables on left and right channels of audio interface?
Check record settings in REAPER. You may need to select stereo input?

Good luck

I had this the other day, using an extension cable for the headphones.its the adapter turned the stereo into a mono signal. Also check routing software that comes with your interface e.g motu gear comes with a software outside of reaper called cuemix, by default it may pan hard left and right inputs 1 and 2. You have to turn the channel to mono and centre. Doubt its anything in Reaper, generally these other factors are the cause.

Default OMG you are right!

I checked the audio interface to where my head phones were plugged into...and guess what I had the jack into the wrong place! Into the input and output on the left side or something. It was not reaper... I take back all I thought about her now! Thanks to all who answered. Appreciated. Good creating!
