+ Linux: use native fullscreen API to improve main window fullscreen on KWin/Plasma
It seems activating or deactivating fullscreen sometimes minimizes the main REAPER window for a couple seconds, then the window reappears. It's not consistently repeatable, but I can make it happen once every several presses of F11. When it does this, REAPER's main window seems to disappear while other floating REAPER windows remain onscreen. (This is something other programs don't seem to do.)

Also the issue with the panel being kept "unhidden" by certain REAPER windows (as mentioned here) still exists, when REAPER isn't fullscreen. The window for Big Clock for instance prevents the panel from hiding. Other windows I had mentioned in that list will allow the panel to hide, as long as REAPER isn't toggled to fullscreen and back again (at which point the window would have to be closed to allow the panel to hide).

If I use the workaround mentioned by Heda (mentioned in that thread, one post below) the panel does hide properly.

thank you for the fullscreen fix on Kwin Plasma
It works well for me now.

I still have issues in the Z order of windows by just clicking on the arrange. or TCP, the windows order change.. for example open a video window and and track manager, floating(not docked) and a FX Chain window floating on top of the two. Now click the arrange or a track, the video and Track manager windows come on top and the FX Chain window goes under.

These quirks with KWin are a bit tricky, hard to get to the bottom of.

(Edit) -- the "requiring attention" notification seems to be a feature of KWin when an app creates a window but does not focus it. If you want to remove the call of gdk_window_set_focus_on_map() from swell-generic-gdk.cpp it will workaround this, but then of course opening certain windows will always focus them, which might not be desired.

The changing order of owned windows when their parent is activated -- this is also unique to KWin. I'll look to see if there's a way to improve that, but I'm not optimistic :/

With 6.38+dev1019 on Ubuntu 20.04, I'm now seeing this seemingly rather odd Z reordering when switching from non-fullscreen to fullscreen:

After switching once though, the new order remains unchanged on subsequent switches.

Are any of these current linux screen fixes in any way related to the inability to drag and drop audio into 3rd party plugins in linux reaper?

Found a reasurroundpan bug that wasn't there a month a go so posting it here for now in case it's a quick fix as it's making my current deadlined project a pain in the butt sorry

If you try to automate "In 1 X" position inside of an automation item. For some reason for me, every time I add a new point, the point jumps and sticks to "-100" ( the top of the item).

No way I've found to get it to move down.

Doesn't happen with "in 2 X" for some reason or even "in 1 Y" and only does it inside of an automation item. Quite weird

Hope it's a quick fix and if not, I'll do a bug report when I've got time.

Can't reproduce, so if you are able to provide a small example project that would be helpful! (Any chance you have a controller overriding the envelope?)

Thanks for trying.

I'll send a test project soon. I did look for a controller but seemed to not give me the remove option but I'll double check.

Hi Schwa. This demo project seems to it for me. If you try to add AND then move that same point left or right, for me it jumps up to the top and doesn't come down

I did try double checking for midi assignments but seemed to be none

Default 6 theme on macOS:

@1x - the offset looks to be fixed.
@2x retina - there's still a slight offset (present from track #2 and on).
@1.5x - can't check this size properly..
