Default Pooled Midi Data Disappeared On Project Load???

Help! I've been spending hours on a new track and decided to try to pool of my midi clips by what they are (melody 1, melody 2, etc (obviously)). I then shut down Reaper and came back within 5 minutes and all of the midi clips I had pooled were EMPTY. Why would this happen? I know only pooled ones emptied because there were a few (even with the same names as some of the pooled ones that were just fine after the reload.

If you can help me figure out why this would happen I would appreciate it LOADS. I've spent a lot of time and put plenty of effort into this project. Thanks you!!

Could you elaborate on how did you pool your MIDI items? You cannot really pool (together) already existing MIDI items. You can group them anytime, but the changes made to one grouped item don't necessarily affect the others. If you really made pooled copies, they should all look the same. And if you didn't save the project after that, the pooled copies shouldn't be there at all after you restarted.
