Set right-click drag to 'time select' = lose right-click context menu

Unfortunately, setting the convenient modifier of right-click DRAG to 'select time' completely takes over the classic right-click context menu.

Even when not dragging, with that modifier set as I described above, the cursor changes to the time select cursor even with a click -- so bringing up the right-click context menu is not possible.

Yes. Extremely annoying and I'm hoping this gets fixed soon since it really is my preferred way of setting things up. Posted about this a few versions ago here: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=234628

I ran into this myself today. Changing Mouse Modifiers > Arrange view > Default action to anything other than the default action ("Marquee select items") makes it so that you can no longer right-click a media item fade in order to choose its fade shape. Instead, a right-double-click is required to bring up the fade shape menu. Right-clicks on envelope control points also stop working, again requiring a right-double-click instead.

Thanks. I really hope this gets fixed soon too. Not having right click in such a context dependant DAW is a major issue to me. I'm working around it obviously thanks to the power of Reaper configuration...but it just doesn't feel right. Hope someone sees this or can bring it to attention.

It seems "create razor edit area" doesn't do this. So the fact that "select time" still does really feels like a bug without a reason. Could be wrong though and initially thought there must have been a reason for this to exist the way it does.

After all this time, I still wish I could set things up like this. Having various object and time selections split up between mouse buttons just isn't great. Not to mention it would help keeping some consistency between modifiers for things like extend, no snap, copy, etc.

Just one more plea to please fix this if possible.
